Meet Tanya
Psychotherapist | EMDR Therapist
I was born and raised in Moscow and moved to the United States at the age of twenty in search of better opportunities.
I paid my way through the university by working as a waitress and upon graduation, joined a booming financial services industry.
After a while I stared noticing that it was people, not financial markets or instruments, that interested me, so after seven years and four jobs, I moved to France to get my MBA at INSEAD so that I could switch into a profession which is more people focussed.
After graduation, I moved to the UK and started working in Human Resources; the profession which allowed me to address the human aspects of work and to support people along their work journeys.
I have always loved listening to people’s stories and finding ways to help, so I decided to study psychotherapy in order to understand others and myself better and learn how to help people at a deeper, more personal level.

I received a Master’s Degree (Distinction) and Post-Graduate Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University, London and today I work as an integrative therapist. This means that I draw on a wide range of theories and practices to inform how I work with my clients (as opposed to using a single approach).

I work with clients with a wide range of issues, including stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, life transitions, work and career issues, identity, life purpose, relationships and sexual issues, low self-esteem, ‘imposter’ syndrome, addictions, trauma, bereavement and panic attacks, amongst others.

I am a life-long learner and there are always a few books I'm reading at the same time. I look after my physical wellbeing by practicing Bikram yoga and being a regular in my local Pilates and Barrecore studios. I am a committed mother of two teenage children who always push me to be a better version of myself.
If you would like to talk to me about taking the next step in your therapy journey then I would love to hear from you.
